(Seriously, there are probably hundreds of spiders per human in my house. On one hand - yay, they eat the yucky bugs; on the other - I hope they don't get pissed off!)

Um, the point. Right. Does anyone happen to have a link to one of the tutorials showing how to get your pretty LJ layout at IJ? I've just updated (Halloween, yay!) with a fairly simple Variable Flow layout there and I'd like to copy it over here.

Oh, also, does anyone else love tabbed broswers as much as I do? My webdesign prof. loathes them and rants about them as though they are the greatest evil ever. Obviously, it's a preference thing - I'm just curious if I'm in a minority.

    I found the iJ comm [info]nameless_layout to be very helpful with recreating the LJ layouts that iJ doesn't have yet. In particularly, I adore the Smooth Sailing Layout which wasn't yet available here but this post had the coding for making it by a new top layer which I had NO idea how to do but the instructions were simple and easy to use.

    I think I might go completely insane without tabbed browsers now. *snuggles Mozilla*

    Excellent point about the spiders... hmm...

    I think Variable Flow is one of the S2 styles available at both IJ and LJ... Do you have custom css and such? You should be able to enter it just as you would over at LJ, into the little textbox and save and everything... (And I'm very eager to see the new layout! Yay, Halloween!)

    How could anyone not love tabbed browsers? I couldn't live without mine!!

      I just saw the Halloween layout over at LJ -- it's fantastic! I love the little jack-o-lanterns for the separators and links!

        Thank you SO much! I can't believe I missed it - I was still set to S1 default. *headdesks* I still have to fix the main image a little - when I got to a better display it looks pretty weak - and it's nowhere remotely near the incredibly major amount of awesome your layout is (which is one of my favorite layouts ever) - but it makes me happy! :D

        (and I'm going to stop now, before that sentence gets any longer, heh)

          And thank you very much! I do enjoy playing around with layouts and such and my results sometimes seem a bit unconventional so it's really rewarding (and reassuring!) to hear that people like them! Unfortunately, all of my LJ layouts are for Flexible Squares and that style doesn't exist in IJ... :-( But, I've been learning about Bloggish and I have a very, very green layout on IJ now that I'm just about finished tweaking.

          Also, yay! for the Bones icon -- I'm so excited for the new season starting next week!!

    Eeeek! Spiders! I don't mind a couple here and there (as long as they are small!) but a hundred and more would make me cry. Hell, even ten would! I can't even look at the IMDB site for the movie Arachnophobia!

    Tabbed browsers are ♥♥!! I can't even imagine internetting without it now!
